Smart Mobility stond in het teken van het World Congress in Dubai.

Het ITS World Congress in Dubai is h&eacute;t evenement voor Intelligente Transportsystemen (ITS) en brengt professionals uit de mobiliteits-, technologie- en beleidssector samen om de ontwikkelingen op het gebied van slimme mobiliteit te bespreken en te presenteren.
De 30e editie van het Wereldcongres draaide om slimme mobiliteit en slimme steden. Wat gebeurt er momenteel op dit gebied? Hoe kunnen nieuwe, innovatieve idee&euml;n en praktijkvoorbeelden bijdragen aan de volgende stappen richting leefbare en groene steden? The ITS World Congress in Dubai is the premier event for Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), bringing together professionals from the mobility, technology, and policy sectors to discuss and showcase advancements in smart mobility.
The 30th edition of the World Congress focused on smart mobility and smart cities. At the time, new developments in the field were being highlighted. Discussions centered around how innovative ideas and case studies could contribute to the next steps toward livable and green cities. Marco Mar&eacute;chal discussed these topics with Carl Anderson, professor at the McLean Hospital; Dylan Hartley, CEO and Director at WHG - Vehicle Telematics; Saara Harjula, EU Affairs Manager at the University of Helsinki; Omar Choudhry, Leading Innovation in Intelligent Transportation Systems &amp; CAVs at the City of Ottawa; Andrew Somers, Specialist Consultant - Future Mobility and ITS at Transoptim Consulting; and Jeroen Brouwer, Director CRO Customer and Sales Analytics at TomTom.
In 'Smart Mobility: The Future Is Now' wordt de theorie verbonden met de praktijk. De projecten die er zijn op het gebied van smart mobility en smart city worden besproken. Tevens is er een koppeling met de consument, de Nederlander, wat vinden wij hiervan en wat hebben we nodig om hierin actief in mee te participeren? Alleen door deze koppeling te maken wordt het een succes en geaccepteerd. Het betreft een interactief radioprogramma te gaan worden dat volop gebruik maakt van de gebruiker (de Nederlander).&nbsp;
&lsquo;Smart Mobility: The Future Is Now&lsquo; is elke laatste dinsdagmiddag van de maand van 15:00 tot 16:00 uur te beluisteren op New Business Radio. De uitzendingen worden ook als podcast beschikbaar gesteld.
