Watertalks: Dutch Surge Support
Dutch Surge Support (DSS water) verleent op verzoek van internationale organisaties snelle hulp bij watergerelateerde rampen in de hele wereld. Hiervoor zet DSS waterexperts in, die direct noodhulp verlenen na een ramp. Zij kunnen worden ingezet voor schoon water, sanitaire voorzieningen, waterbeheer, maar ook voor blijvende voorzieningen zoals afvalwaterzuivering.
Folkert Tempelman ging in deze aflevering in gesprek met Sandra Cats, Coordinator humanitarian programs bij RVO; Water engineer en expert Adélaïde Umuhuza en Jeroen Helder over het Dutch Surge Support (DSS) programma.

Missed the seventh episode of Watertalks, in collaboration with the NWP? At the request of international organizations, Dutch Surge Support (DSS water) provides assistance to water-related disasters around the world. DSS deploys water experts, who provide emergency aid immediately after a disaster. These experts help with access to clean water, sanitation and water management, but also with permanent facilities like wastewater treatment plants.
